16102025 glass camera
you are standing in a box somewhere
i am somewhere standing in a box
you close your lids and open your eyes
i close mine too now tied to you
we are viewing each other
seperate places in time
seperate times in place
encased in cardboard and red light
i don't know you yet i see
you can't know me although you see too
this is the way
the glass camera
snapping photos in our minds eye
minds snapping in to grids
aligning for brief eternity
flashing from inside
a place we can be together
a space we can see forever
this is what happens on the other side
is this what happens after you die?
can anyone ever really?
does anyone ever truly?
how really real
do you actually really feel?
in these boxes shared by mind
could you reach out and touch my hand?
could we lock fingers or clip through one another?
would it be warm?
if i aligned my eyes with yours
could i see through them?
can you view what i do?
are you hearing me?
did you get that down?
i am communicating to you through time
now is anything
anything can be
forever inside me
ever forever you
we can see each other now
i can feel where you are
you can feel the same of me
we are here in this glass camera forever
this hyperobject of perception
i never opened the door
it was like that when i got here
youre open too
two people
in a field
in the same place at the same time but miles away
did you get that down?
are you getting this?
i left a message for you
right there where it cuts at the edge of the vortex
right on the cusp of the universe
a little poem i wrote
and it goes:
"are you hearing me?
i can't find my way back
are you seeing this now?
are we so far off track
where the hell have i got to?
and where the hell are you?
if id ever felt anything at all this is where id leave it
on the precipice of this full stop
just before the reel runs out
before the loom runs dry
was it a good watch?
did it make sense?
did you love it?
did they love it too?
did you love me?
what's the final score?"
